The reason I look up to Miyazaki`s work so much is the time he spends in creating the worlds, facial features and the characters personalities. He was one of the first to make very complex character personalities. His attention to detail is what inspires me to be just as meticulous with my environments and characters. I also look up to his views. Often in his films there is theme or lesson he is trying to teach his audience about humanity. He holds dearly to the notion that films need to show what human beings are, both the good and the bad. I respect and agree with this ideal.
